The man who knows no foreign language, knows nothing of his mother.

PRESENT PERFECT

FORMA AFFERMATIVA

I have ( I've) read book
FORMA NEGATIVA

I have not (I haven't) read book

FORMA INTERROGATIVA

Have you read book?
RISPOSTE BREVI
Yes, he has. No,  he has not ( hasn't)

Il present perfect si usa con i i verbi di azione e con verbi di stato, di percezione, di possesso (be, have, know, remember, love, like, own ...)

Si deve usare "to have", anche nel caso di verbi intransitivi che in italiano invece richiederebbero l'ausiliare essere
Today I have gone to museum

John has broken is leg

I have studied chapter this week

(usato in frasi affermative e interrogative)
I have already had breakfast.
Ho già fatto colazione
Have you already had breakfast?
Hai già fatto colazione?

EVER

Mai

(usato in frasi interrogative)
Have you ever seen a ghost?
Hai mai visto un fantasma?
JUST

appena
He has just started
Ha appena incominciato
LATELY
ultimamente
I have not played golf lately
Non ho giocato a golf ultimamente

NEVER

Mai

(vuole sempre il verbo nella forma affermativa)
She has never been abroad
Non è mai stata all'estero
RECENTLY

recentemente
I have met him recently
L'ho incontrato recentemente

YET
ancora

(in frasi negative)

They haven't arrived yet
Non sono ancora arrivati

Altre espressioni di frequenza e di tempo che richiedono il Present Perfect sono often, many times , up to now, so far ...

I have studied fifty pages
Ho studiato 50 pagine

I have lived in Milan since 1980.
Vivo a Milano dal 1980
I have known him since I was a child

I have lived in Milan for three years
Vivo a Milano da tre anni

Il present perfect si usa in frasi, in cui in italiano viene messo il presente indicativo, introdotte da "it is the first/the second ... time that ...
This is the first time that I have visited this museum

I have been to the bank twice today

John have gone to the bank

How long have you known him?

yesterday John went to museum

quando si trovano termini come yesterday, two (or more) days ago, last monday (o altri giorni della settimana) last week, one (or more) week ago, one month (or more) ago, last month, one (or more) year ago, last year o quando si trova una data precisa del passato (on December 2, 1864", oppure "in 1956")

John  has arrived from the museum

quando si trovano termini come ever, never, all day, all afternoon (o altri simili), since, for, almost, this day, this week, this morning, this year, yet, already, again, it's the first (second, third or more) time that..., lately, recently, many times, always, often, just

I would go with them

CONDIZIONALE PRESENTE
I would go
you would go
he would go
she would go
it would go
we would go
you would go
they would go
Io andrei
Tu andresti
Egli andrebbe
Ella andrebbe
Esso andrebbe
Noi andremmo
Voi andreste
Essi andrebbero

WOULD = 'D
WOULD NOT = WOULDN’T
SHOULD NOT =SHOULDN’T

FORMA AFFERMATIVA
FORMA NEGATIVA
FORMA INTERROGATIVA
I would ('d) speak
I would not (wouldn’t)  speak
Would I speak?
you would ('d) speak
you would not (wouldn’t)  speak
Would you speak?
he/she/it would ('d) speak
he/she/it would not (wouldn’t)  speak
Would he/she/it speak?
we would ('d) speak
we would not (wouldn’t)  speak
Would we speak?
you would ('d) speak
you would not (wouldn’t)  speak
Would you speak?
they would ('d) speak
they would not (wouldn’t)  speak
Would they speak?

Il condizionale presente si usa:
per esprimere incertezza (in pareri, supposizioni ecc.)
I’d say it’s a good idea
Direi che è una buona idea.
John should be at home now
John dovrebbe essere a casa adesso

per fare richieste od offerte in modo cortese
Would you tell me the time please?
Mi direbbe l’ora per favore?
Could you post this letter for me?
Mi potresti imbucare questa lettera?
Would you like something to drink?
Vorresti bere qualcosa?

per esprimere preferenze, desideri in modo cortese
If you don’t mind, I’d like to stay in tonight

Jim told me he would come later

CONDIZIONALE PASSATO

FORMA AFFERMATIVA
FORMA NEGATIVA
FORMA INTERROGATIVA
I would ('d) have spoken
I would not (wouldn’t)  have spoken
Would I have spoken?
you would ('d) have spoken
you would not (wouldn’t)  have spoken
Would you have spoken?
he/she/it would ('d) have spoken
he/she/it would not (wouldn’t)  have spoken
Would he/she/it have spoken?
we would ('d) have spoken
we would not (wouldn’t)  have spoken
Would we have spoken?
you would ('d) have spoken
you would not (wouldn’t)  have spoken
Would you have spoken?
they would ('d) have spoken
they would not (wouldn’t)  have spoken
Would they have spoken?

I would have bought it, but I had no money

 Abbiamo quindi:

IF + condizione + azione
if you see him, please report to the authorities

if you buy that newspaper, please tell me

if I had time, I would go to the concert
If I had a map, I would lend it to you
If I lived near my office, I would be in time for work
Se vivessi vicino all'ufficio sarei al lavoro in orario (ma non vivo vicino all'ufficio)
If I dyed my hair blue, everyone would laugh at me

if I played good, I scored

if I had been a good player I would have scored
If I had known that you were coming, I would have met you at the station

if I study hard, I will pass my exam

if I went on holiday, I would relax

Condizionale presente progressivo

WOULD + BE + -ING FORM
Why didn’t you come to the seaside with me? Now you would be lying on the beach.

Condizionale passato progressivo

WOULD + HAVE BEEN + -ING FORM
Fortunately Sheila didn’t come to the party. She would have been talking  about her problems all the time.
