PLUGS and SOCKETS

If you're planning a trip you should remember that each country has different standards for plugs and sockets. If the voltage ranges from 220V to 240V electrical devices work well, but it is highly likely that the plug (or outlet) is not the right one. So you should procure a multi-standard adapter and possibly a current transformer, if you want to solve every problem of electrical conduction.

There is here a detailed list of the different plug and outlet  types used around the world.
