If you're planning a trip you
should remember that each country has different standards for plugs and
sockets. If the voltage ranges from 220V to 240V electrical devices work well,
but it is highly likely that the plug (or outlet) is not the right one. So you
should procure a multi-standard adapter and possibly a current transformer, if
you want to solve every problem of electrical conduction.
