10 STEPS TO DETOX FROM MOBILE PHONE AND INTERNET - 10 PASSI PER DISINTOSSICARSI DA CELLULARE E INTERNET

1) I will have a cup of coffee in the morning and read my newspaper like I used to, before the Internet and mobile phones.

1) Al mattino prenderò una tazza di caffè e leggerò il mio quotidiano, come ero abituato a fare prima di Internet e cellulari.

2) I will eat lunch with a knife and fork and not with one hand typing.

2) Pranzerò con il coltello e la forchetta e non con una mano che digita sulla tastiera.

3) I will make an attempt to clean the house, wash clothes, and plan dinner before even thinking of the Internet and smartphone.

3) Farò un tentativo di pulire la casa, lavare i vestiti e programmare la cena prima che il pensiero vada ad Internet e allo smartphone.

4) I will sit down and write a letter to those unfortunate few friends and family that are Internet-smartphone-deprived.

4) Mi metterò a sedere e scriverò una lettera a quei pochi amici sfortunati e parenti che sono privi di Internet e smartphone.

5) I will read a book…if I still remember how.

5) Leggerò un libro … se mi ricordo ancora come si fa.

6) I will listen to those around me and their needs and stop telling them to turn the TV down so I can hear the music on the Internet or cell phone .

6) Ascolterò coloro che mi stanno intorno ed i loro problemi e smetterò di dire loro di abbassare la TV perché devo ascoltare la musica su Internet o sul cellulare.

7) I will not be tempted during TV commercials to check for email.

7) Non sarò tentato di controllare la posta elettronica durante gli spot pubblicitari.

8) I will try and get out of the house at least once a day, if it is necessary or not.

8) Proverò ad uscire di casa almeno una volta al giorno, sia che sia necessario sia che non lo sia.

9) I will remember that power company is not forgiving if I forget to pay my bill because I was too busy on the Internet or mobile phone.

9) Mi ricorderò che la società elettrica non mi perdonerà se dimentico di saldare la mia bolletta perché ero troppo impegnato su Internet o con il telefono cellulare.

10) Last, but not least, I will remember that I must go to bed sometime … and the Internet  and  smartphone will always be their tomorrow!
